St. Martin/ St. Barts page 2

St. Barts....we spent one night in the outer harbor (the inner harbor was a little warm). We had dinner at an excellent restaurant called The Palace. More foi gras with sauterne; watermelon soup with prosciutto; snapper with Provençal vegetables. We picked up our picnic lunch at the Rotisserie. The tuna salad was especially good. We found Italian coffee (Illy) at the Creperie which was a treat.

This is Sofie, the best friend of Laura who owns La Case a Rhums in Grand Case. Sofie manages a chic store in St. Barts.

The Smart we rented in St. Barts. You must rent one when you are here. The island is beautiful.

Looking at our next anchorage: Anse de Columbier in St. Barts. No roads lead to this beautiful bay with a gorgeous beach and the best snorkleing of the trip.

Melanie and Michel from Calgary. We met them in Anguilla and ran into them again at Anse de Columbier on St. Barts, our last night on the boat. They are sailing for a year to a year and a half on their 34 foot sailboat.

St. Thomas (east end): an evening in a nice hotel before our trip home
